On Nov 16 we will have the opportunity to spend time with Jesus and to spark renewal in the Allentown diocese.

Project 177- A Holy Hour and a Full Concert will be held at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Allentown at 6:30 pm. It will include top Catholic recording artists, Marie Miller who sang for the Pope in Philadelphia, Ben Wagner whose first album just came out, with well-known local priests leading the Holy Hour.

Attendance to Project 177 at St. John the Baptists Church is Free but tickets are required and can be obtained by calling your church office or St John’s at 610-432-0034. Again there is no charge but tickets are needed to insure seats for everyone.

Project 177, a group of Catholics in the entertainment industry, Adoration Artists, is sponsoring a similar event in every Diocese in the United States all aimed at bringing people to the Lord.
Jason Wall, who with his wife Rachel, are founders of Adoration Artists, believes fully in the power of Eucharistic Adoration since his wife decided to convert to Catholicism after attending one with him. The couple wants to use the combination of music, prayer and adoration to reach Catholics in the 177 Dioceses. He said that he prays that some unchurched and non-catholics attend.
“I have attended many concerts in Christian churches and have seen many people go to their knees as result. A lot of people become Christian and join the church after the concert. I want to see this happen after Adoration which is why we are doing this.”
Jason has been managing Christian music artist for many years. “I know how strong music is” he commented and then added that St. Theresa of Calcutta said “if every parish comes to pray to Jesus in front of the Blessed Sacrament in a Holy Hour. We will convert America and save the world.”
According to Jason that is why Adoration Artists is doing this. As a convert from a Baptist Church, Jason has seen the importance of music in the church bringing them to Jesus. He came to the Catholic Church because of the Eucharist.
